ORILLIA SKATING

Taking place Monday mornings at 6:30am at Oro Community Centre beginning November 15th.

If you are an elite goalie or on the verge of being an elite goalie and are looking to level up, this is the program for you!

As the game evolves, net minders need to set themselves apart from their peers. This can, partly, be accomplished through skating and puck handling. Goalie power skating is a HUGE part of being an elite goaltender. Equally important is becoming a third defence by being able to confidently handle the puck. These are skills coaches are looking for in their goalies.

During these sessions, we will concentrate on form, balance and execution of movements and save techniques during the goalie power skating.

We will teach proper puck handling, pass options, how to have good communication with teammates, reading the play and pass deception.

When these movements and skills become second nature, consistency occurs When consistency occurs, improvement, confidence and next level follows.

Available in 5 pack and 10 pack sessions.
